MATANZICK is a Norwegian metal band hailing from the town of Elverum, known for their intense live performances and hard-hitting sound. Formed in 2010 by guitarist/vocalist Tore Lunner and bassist Fredrik Vindfallet, the band quickly built a reputation for aggressive riffs, powerful songwriting, and uncompromising energy.

The current lineup consists of Tore Lunner, Fredrik Vindfallet, Pål Gundersen, and Terje André Rønningen. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of metal subgenres, including thrash metal, traditional heavy metal, and hard rock, MATANZICK combines memorable melodies with raw intensity and crushing heaviness.

To date, MATANZICK has released three full-length albums. Their latest release, Chronicles of the Abyss, showcases the band's darkest and most atmospheric material to date, pushing their sound into deeper and more expansive territory. Its predecessor, Pandemonium, received strong critical acclaim and helped establish MATANZICK as a notable force in the Norwegian metal scene.
